As a partner at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, Michael is the Club’s legal expert and is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the Club. He has extensive experience in property law, regularly handling complex transactions in excess of $100M.
Michael has also acted as a Board member of Melbourne Montessori School in Caulfield and Brighton East for 3 years. Michael currently has 4 children playing for Glen Eira.
Professor Brett Williams is currently the Head of Paramedics at Monash University. He has worked at Monash University since 2004, and previously as an Intensive Care Paramedic for 15 years.
He has close to 40 years involvement in football including coaching and playing professionally in the English First Division and Premier League in the early 1990s. He has four children all proudly playing football; two of which are playing at Glen Eira.
Mark is a Technologist for the ANZ Bank. As an innovator & CPA he has streamlined finance & procurement functions for many large companies. He brings this lens to the club Treasurer role to optimise process and improve financial visibility for the committee to ensure long-term viability of the club for our community.
On the field, Mark enjoys both coaching the kids and playing for the Seniors. With three children of his own, Mark sees much value in fostering our community values of fun, family & football.
John is currently the General Manager Channel Development for 24-7 Healthcare, and has held numerous roles in the last 15 years within the Health sector for Medibank Private, Vision Eye Institute and National Hearing Care.
John has previously served as Chairman and Board member of Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV), a not for profit organisation that represents artists and communities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Match & Facilities Manager
Sam brings to the club over 20 years of leadership experience in the retail sector across a number of States and has a passion for mentoring future leaders. Sam draws on this experience to nurture inclusive behaviours and ensure engagement with all members of our diverse community and club.
As a member of the club for five years and parent of a budding referee, Sam is committed to supporting the club to help participants at all levels to excel – community, women’s, special needs, elite footballers and all levels of referees. Sam looks forward to supporting the continued success and development of the club.
Victor is the Transformation Program Manager with Bulla Dairy Foods. His uses his extensive experience in change management and leadership skills to help the club navigate the ever-changing football landscape we operate in.
Victor has three boys playing at the club and has been coaching at Glen Eira more or less continuously for almost 10 years.
Tamara is an experienced Corporate Affairs professional with a diverse range of experience. Following a ten year diplomatic career, Tamara took up a Corporate Affairs role with Glencore in New Caledonia, and then Telstra in Australia. Tamara brings to the club significant expertise in negotiation, government and stakeholder relations, risk management and sustainability.
Tamara fell in love with our game living in France and after relocating to Melbourne with her two children at the end of 2017, she took on an active role at the club where she is currently an Age Level Coordinator.
Odilia is an Associate Professor and the Head of Teaching and Learning in her department at The University of Melbourne. She has a long career in medical research in infection and immunity and in tertiary education. She is passionate about the game of football and aims to work towards an inclusive community where all can enjoy playing football.
Odilia has been involved with the Club since 2014 and has two children playing with the Club. Aside from volunteer roles with their teams, she has organised the Player Award Certificates for the Club and is currently an Age Group Coordinator.
Simone is currently the Director of People Strategy at Melbourne-based global BI software developer Yellowfin and a Director of the North American and Japanese entities with 20+ years of cross-sector experience in a range of roles. She has significant experience in strategy and process development, change management, negotiation and advocacy.
Simone is also the Deputy Co-Chair of the Grants Committee (Pro-Bono) of the Melbourne Women’s Fund, which is a giving circle making pivotal grants to emerging Not-For-Profits, working to redress disadvantage for Melbourne women and their families. She’s currently undertaking further study in governance, finance, strategy and risk through the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Simone has been an active member of the Glen Eira FC community since 2016. She’s currently part of the Grants team, is the U15 Boys Coordinator and is a former Team Manager. She has a boy and girl playing at the social level and is a recent convert to the beautiful game via the Soccer Mums program.
As the Technical Lead for Genius Sports (SportingPulse International), Craig informs the club on the latest technology trends relevant to grassroots sport. As well as having worked with National Sports Organisations in designing and development digital solutions for both elite and community sports organisation, Craig is also a highly experienced and qualified coach who’s passionate about player development and developing a life-long love of the game for junior players.
