• Matches are played at 1pm and 3pm on Saturdays from March till September 2025.
• Home matches are played in Carnegie or East Bentleigh. 

Training Sessions

• 7pm - 9pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays

Player Payments

Players aren't paid at Glen Eira FC.  What we offer a decent playing level in an enjoyable environment.  

Trials for the 2025 Mens teams will run throughout November, 2025.

Exact session details (venue, date & time) will be emailed to those who lodge an Expression of Interest.

League

In Season 2026, Glen Eira FC will enter teams in the Mens Metropolitan Leagues. 

Matches

Matches are played on Sundays during Winter (April till September).

Home matches are played in Carnegie or East Bentleigh.

Trials

Try-out sessions for the 2026 Mens Metro team will take place from mid-January 2026.

Exact session details (venue, date & time) will be emailed to those who lodge an Expression of Interest.

Glen Eira's U21 Youth Community teams offer boys born 2005 to 2006 inclusive, the opportunity to play with, and against, players of a similar skill-level in Season 2026.

• Trials are held in November to allocate the spots in U21 Community boys teams. 
  Session details, as soon as they are confirmed, are sent to new players who submit an EOI.  Returning players (those already in a 2025 Glen Eira team) will also be notified.
• There are also try-out sessions in January/February to determine the most suitable team for new players to join.

• Matches are played on Sundays from early April till early Sept.
• The training night(s) depends on which particular team you are in.  Different teams train on different nights.
  
• Home Matches & Training Sessions are held in Carnegie or East Bentleigh.
• Away matches are mostly Southside, however they can sometimes be anywhere across metropolitan Melbourne.

Age Cutoffs

• Boys born in 2005 - 2007 inclusive, play in the 21 Youth or Senior Mens age groups in Season 2026

Joining

• The EOI is for New Players Only.
• Returning Players (Ie. those who played for a Glen Eira FC team in Season 2025) shouldn't submit an EOI. They are automatically invited to relevant try-out sessions.

Expression of Interest for Boys Community Teams

Dodos

• Suitable for semi-skilled players born up to and including 1981 for Season 2026.
• Dodos play in Men's Over45s Div 3 League  
• A new O55s Mens team is being established in Season 2026
• 1 Training session per week
