Player Photo

Missing or Inadequate Player Photo

All players in U11 to U21 teams are required to have a Player ID card with a photo of their face on it.


If any of the photos are missing or inadequate (Ie. not a photo of their face), then Team Managers have 2 options.

1) Take the photo yourself and send it to the club for uploading.   
Take it in good light and include their head and chest.   

2) Send the below email template to ask the parents to upload a new photo.

Thanks for registering your child in Play Football.   Unfortunately, the player photo is missing or inadequate.  This means the Player ID card isn't valid and the referee of any match could deem your child ineligible to play.


To Upload a New Photo

  1. Click here to access your  Registrations in Play Football
  2. Click on  Filter  then click Clear all Filters.
  3. For the registration with missing or inadequate photo.
  4. Click the 3 dots at the top and​ clickUpload ID Photo.

Valid Photo

  • Is a passport-style image (not an image of a passport).
  • The head faces the camera directly. Face in full view.
  • No hats or sunglasses.
  • Was taken within the last 12 months.
  • Is sharp and taken in good light.
  • Is under 5MB in size.
  • Is either a PNG or JPG file type.
