The season consists of 18 rounds — 9 home matches and 9 away matches.

Training

football_training_tacticThe training schedule is set by the coach. Training is usually once per week, usually from 6pm or 7pm on a weeknight (Mon to Thur).  In-Season*  training runs from early April through till early Sept.

*Pre-season training starts in February or March and often occurs on different nights to In-Season training due to limited ground availability.

Playing Levels

Glen Eira’s girls teams are mostly Joeys/C-Grade teams.  In some age groups we have  Kangaroos/A-grade teams for girls who a bit more competitive.

Joeys/C-Grade teams are more friendship-based teams for players getting started and also those who are in it for the enjoyment of the game and the improved social outcomes/life skills that come from participating in organised team sport.
