Glen Eira's JGNPL Squads are coached by qualified and experienced coaches who train them three times per week.

  • Suitable for highly-skilled girls born 2009 to 2013.
  • Matches are mainly played on Saturdays from February till September.
  • U13 match format is 9v9 on a half-pitch.
  • U15 & U17 match format is 11v11 on a full-pitch.
  • 3 Training sessions per week

U8-U18 Girls Community Teams

Glen Eira's U8-U18 Girls Community teams offer girls the opportunity to play with, and against, players of a similar skill-level as themselves.



Girls Community teams offer good skills development whilst maximising player satisfaction.

  • Try-out sessions are held in February/March to determine the most suitable team for new players to join.
    Session details, as soon as they are confirmed, will be sent to new players who submit an EOI. 
    Returning players (those who played with a Glen Eira team in the previous season) will automatically be notified.
  • Volunteer Coaches.
  • Matches are played on Sunday mornings from early April till early Sept.
  • The training night(s) depends on which particular team you are in.  Different teams train on different nights.
  • Match format for U8 -  U9 is 7v7 on a quarter-size pitch.
  • Match format for U10 - U13 is 9v9 on a half-size pitch.
  • Match format for U14 - U18 is 11v11 on a full-size pitch.
  • Venue for training sessions and home matches is Lord Reserve, Carnegie.
  • The training night/s depends on which particular team you are in.  Different teams train on different nights.
  • Away matches are mostly inner-bayside. Eg. Bentleigh, Brighton, Beaumaris, Hampton, Sandringham. Occasionally, away matches might be bit further. Eg. Aspendale, Berwick, Casey, Chelsea, Langwarrin, Mornington, Mount Eliza.



Joining

  • The EOI is for New Players Only.
  • Returning Players (Ie. those who are played for a Glen Eira FC team in the previous season) shouldn't submit an EOI. They are automatically invited to relevant try-out sessions.
    Exception: Returning players wanting to change age groups should submit an EOI saying which age group they want.
